Roger Moore joined IMCA in July 2023, bringing 27 years of global experience in the ROV industry, most recently with the James Fisher Group. Over the course of his career, he has held a variety of roles, progressing from Trainee Pilot Technician to Offshore Project Manager (OPM), and later serving as an ROV Operations Manager and Technical Authority onshore.
Prior to his career in the offshore sector, Roger served in the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, where he developed a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems. Committed to knowledge sharing and industry development, he has authored several training programmes and hosted internships as a dedicated STEM Ambassador.
Roger is currently a Technical Adviser at IMCA, focusing on Remote Systems & ROV, Offshore Survey, and Competence and Training. In addition, he serves as a Remote Systems & ROV Consultant for Blue Abyss, contributing his expertise to the development of cutting-edge underwater and space training infrastructure.
