Blue Abyss and NovaCorp Aerospace sign MoU
Blue Abyss and NovaCorp Aerospace, a visionary company in space-based entertainment innovation, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at enabling future variable-gravity sports and entertainment experiences. This agreement will leverage Blue Abyss’s specialist expertise and advanced infrastructure currently under development.
The MOU lays the groundwork for Blue Abyss to support NovaCorp Aerospace’s ambitious vision for its Genesis X mission and related projects, which include producing zero-gravity extreme sports, and entertainment content in variable gravity environments.

Blue Abyss will provide access to its parabolic flight services and extreme environment training facilities as NovaCorp prepares for these pioneering ventures.
We are proud to work with NovaCorp Aerospace as they prepare for the next frontier in human performance and storytelling. This agreement demonstrates how Blue Abyss’ infrastructure can enable visionary organisations to explore new possibilities for human experience and commercial space applications.
John Vickers, CEO of Blue Abyss
NovaCorp Aerospace’s Genesis X mission, in partnership with JLE Cinema Group, aims to create a new genre of entertainment, blending terrestrial, aeronautical and future space-based experiences. Planned productions include Galactic MMA, the first competitive mixed martial arts events in microgravity.
Blue Abyss’s expertise in simulating extreme environments makes them the perfect partner as we prepare for our future productions. As a former MMA fighter, I’ve always believed in pushing human limits, and with Blue Abyss, we’re laying the foundation for the next great leap in human entertainment and exploration.
John Lewis, Founder and CEO of NovaCorp Aerospace
This agreement follows Blue Abyss’s recent signing of a Space Act Agreement with the NASA Glenn Research Center, further underlining its commitment to advancing human performance and training in extreme environments. Blue Abyss’s services will play a crucial role in preparing NovaCorp Aerospace’s teams and participants for the unique challenges of zero-gravity filming and production.
