It’s not about the picture, it’s about the EON

It’s not about the picture, it’s about the EON

Today John meet with Sarah Corrigan, who pledged in our UK Crowdfunding Campaign and won the EON Steel, kindly sponsored by SUUNTO UK. And, okay, the quality of the photographs may not win any awards, however, winning photographic competitions wasn’t the point of today. Handing over the fabulous Suunto EON Steel dive computer, kindly donated by Suunto UK, was!

And so, despite the lack of chic venue, it was with enormous pleasure that I got to meet, chat and then handover to Sarah Corrigan as the winner, the Suunto computer. It was a real joy spending some time with Sarah and learning why she kindly decided to support Blue Abyss during the recent crowd funding effort. Sarah said she was really chuffed, (whilst on holiday), to learn that she’d won and couldn’t quite believe it and will be using the Suunto to help motivate herself back into the water after a short break from diving.

This might not be the slickest PR story ever but for me, on a personal level, is yet another highlight on the journey to delivering the vision of Blue Abyss. So thank you Sarah and congratulations from all of the team and Suunto UK!

We hope you have many years of diving pleasure with the EON and look forward to sharing some of them in Blue Abyss!
